Terms and conditions of use of the website

1. Who we are

The honexpres.ro website is operated by HONEXPRES SRL, with its registered office in Oradea, Str. Alexandru Cazaban nr. 50, ap. 1, Bihor County, Romania, tax identification number (CUI) RO30456239, Trade Register no. J05/1140/2012 (hereinafter “Honexpres”). Honexpres is a freight forwarder, a member of FIATA and USER (Uniunea Societăților de Expediții din România). You can write to us at contact@honexpres.ro; our opening hours are Monday–Friday, 09:00–16:00.

By using the website, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the website.

2. What the website offers

The website presents the Honexpres services and provides information and tools for those who send or receive goods: service pages, guides and articles, vehicle and container sheets, a glossary, pages about documents and the Incoterms® rules, a load calculator, the quote request form, the Track & Trace presentation page and an AI assistant.

The information is general. We check it carefully, but regulations and technical values may change and may differ from case to case. It does not constitute legal, customs, tax or technical advice and does not replace a check of your specific situation.

3. Tools: calculator, technical sheets, AI assistant

• The results of the load calculator and the values in the vehicle and container sheets are indicative; the exact data is confirmed in the quote, for the specific vehicle or container.
• The AI assistant (HONEXPRES COPILOT) and the “Fill in with AI” function are artificial intelligence systems. When they are switched on, your messages and, with “Fill in with AI”, the text and the documents you ask to be analysed may be sent to external AI model providers, as explained in the transparency note and in the privacy policy. The quick fill from text is done on rules, without AI. These tools help you find information and prepare the request; their answers and the data filled in are informative, are not offers, are not legal advice and do not bind Honexpres; you check the data before sending. The assistant does not set prices and does not confirm the availability of a vehicle or a delivery term. Details in the artificial intelligence transparency note.
• The status shown when tracking a request or a transport is for information only and reflects the data available at that moment.

4. The quote request, the quote and the contract

Sending a quote request does not create a contract and does not commit you to anything; nor does it oblige us to make a quote. Quotes are prepared and sent by people in the Honexpres team and are valid on the terms and for the period written in them. The freight forwarding contract or the contract of carriage is concluded only by the written confirmation of the order by Honexpres (by email or on another durable medium), on the conditions in the quote and in the order. The content of the website is not an offer to contract.

5. The role of Honexpres and the conditions of the transport

Honexpres acts as a forwarder (freight forwarder): it organises the transport and carries it out through selected carriers and other partners. Transports are carried out in accordance with the quote, the confirmed order and the regulations applicable to the mode of transport, for example the CMR Convention for the international carriage of goods by road.

To the extent that the quote or the contract does not provide otherwise, the freight forwarding services are subject to the General Conditions of the Uniunea Societăților de Expediții din România (USER), in the version in force on the date of confirmation of the order.

Honexpres does not offer or broker insurance. Liability for the goods during transport is that provided for by the applicable conventions and laws; if you need cargo insurance, you can take it out with an insurer of your choice.

6. Liability for the content and operation of the website

You use the information and tools on the website at your own risk. Within the limits permitted by law, Honexpres is not liable for damage resulting from the use of the general information, of the indicative results of the tools or of the answers of the AI assistant without our written confirmation. Nothing in these terms limits liability which, under the law, cannot be limited or excluded, for example for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence.

We make efforts to ensure that the website works correctly and securely, but we do not guarantee that it will be available without interruptions or without errors. We may modify, suspend or withdraw parts of the website at any time.

7. How you may use the website

Please use the website in good faith: send real data in the forms, do not upload harmful files, do not try to circumvent the security measures, do not extract the content automatically in bulk and do not use the AI assistant for purposes other than those for which it is provided. We may block the access of those who break these rules.

8. Intellectual property

The texts, drawings, photographs, audio and video materials, the trade mark and the structure of the website belong to HONEXPRES SRL or are used with the consent of the rights holders. You may quote short extracts indicating the source and the link; for any other reuse, ask us for consent in writing.

Incoterms® is a registered trade mark of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). The explanations on the website are worded by us and do not replace the official text of the rules, published by the ICC. The other third-party trade marks belong to their owners.

9. Links to other websites

The website contains links to official sources and organisations (for example FIATA, USER, CNAIR, the European Commission). We do not control these websites and we are not responsible for their content or for their practices.

10. Personal data and cookies

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Romanian law. We try to resolve any disagreement amicably; write to us first at the address above. Disputes that cannot be resolved amicably fall within the jurisdiction of the courts of the registered office of HONEXPRES SRL (Oradea, Bihor County). If you are a consumer, you keep the rights that the law gives you, including the right to bring a case before the court of your place of residence and to refer the matter to the Autoritatea Națională pentru Protecția Consumatorilor (the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection) (anpc.ro).

Disputes related to a transport are subject to the clauses of the contract for that transport and to the applicable conventions.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page and applies from publication; quotes and orders already confirmed continue to be subject to their own conditions.
