We started in 2012 as a road haulage company, running trucks of our own. Today we are a freight forwarder: we organise domestic and international freight transport, with the experience of people who have operated transport.

Our story
We did not start only from an office. We operated transport.
HONEXPRES started in 2012 as a road haulage company, with its own trucks and runs in Romania and across Europe. Our experience was built directly on the road, at a time when today’s technology was not standard.
Later, the experience as a carrier extended into freight forwarding. Today HONEXPRES combines practical experience as a carrier with experience as a freight forwarder and professional training, and the transport is carried out by the transport companies we work with.

Over the years we operated vehicles of different capacities, from 7.5, 12 and 16 tonne trucks to 40 tonne combinations. We drove all over Europe, including the United Kingdom and the islands, with ferry crossings and operating conditions that differ from one country to another. We worked with loading at the dock, from the side, from the top and by crane.

How we choose carriers
For each job we choose the carrier according to the type of vehicle the goods require, the route and our previous experience with that carrier. Before assignment we check:

valid for the duration of the transport.

ADR for dangerous goods, ATP for perishable food.

The proposed vehicle
matches the order: type, dimensions, equipment.
The carrier receives a written order with the loading and delivery instructions. You stay in touch with the HONEXPRES team: you are not sent to the carrier when a question or a problem comes up.
