Extendable flatbed (telescopic)
Practical reference values
- length
- 13.6 m closed → ~30 m extended
- width
- ~2.5 m
The extendable (telescopic) flatbed lengthens to carry long items: beams, poles, pipes or steel structures. Extended, it almost always becomes an oversized transport, with permits and sometimes an escort and time restrictions. It is organised on request only.
Practical reference values. We confirm the exact dimensions in the quote. Honexpres organises transport with this vehicle, on request.

States of the platform
- Retracted 13,535 mm
- Extended 20,435 mm
- Extension +6,900 mm
The extended length is the retracted length plus the extension, calculated from the values of the sheet.

They are derived or calculated, without a direct source: do not use them as data.
15 configuration data items are still missing for an automatic loading calculation.
Legal limits. Legal limits of dimensions and mass are not properties of a vehicle: they depend on the country, the road and the permit, and are checked along the route. They are not shown here as a universal rule.
How it is loaded
- top (crane)
- side
- Top loading by crane.
- Payload drops when the deck is extended and the weight is concentrated.
- The extended overall length needs a permit and a checked route.
Suitable for
- Beams and poles
- Long pipes and profiles
- Long steel structures
- beams, poles, long pipes
- wind turbine blades (special versions)
- steel structures
Not suitable for
- heavy, short cargo (→ semi-low / low bed)
- general cargo

Can long items travel without an extendable trailer?
Only if they fit within the length of an ordinary flatbed. Otherwise an extendable trailer and oversized-load permits are needed.
